Transmash plant began to produce and supply spare parts for the rolling stock of the Moscow Metro in 1989-1990. In total, Transmash and the Metro Rolling Stock Service had 17 years of joint work during this time. In general, providing spare parts for 81–717, Rusich 81–740 / 741, and Yauza 81–720 / 721, the TRANSMASH product range exceeds 200 items, and 50 more are in the experimental development phase.
The first line of the Moscow Metro opened in 1935 from Sokolniki to the Culture Park. It currently has 233 stations. The annual passenger flow is 2560.4 million people. The rolling stock operated by the Moscow metro currently includes wagons: types Ezh-3, Ezh-6 and Em-508T (81-710, 81-712 and 81-508T), wagons of type 81-717 / 714, 81-740 / 741 “Rusich”, 81-760 / 761 “Oka”, 81-765 / 766/767 “Moscow” and their varieties.
